LYNTONIX participated in the 2026 BioMed-X Biomedical Startup Matchmaking Expo, held on August 5–6, 2026, and organized by the Taoyuan City Government and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). During the event, LYNTONIX engaged in one-on-one matchmaking and discussions with experts across a wide range of fields, including investment, manufacturing, clinical application, and regulatory affairs. LTX-568, LYNTONIX’s lead drug candidate, received highly positive feedback and strong interest from industry representatives and venture capital investors. LYNTONIX also participated in the event’s Gold Mining Competition – Poster Evaluation, where a panel of industry experts assessed participating startups based on criteria including technological innovation, unmet market needs, commercialization potential, and team capabilities and resources. LYNTONIX distinguished itself from more than 200 participating companies and advanced to the final eight, earning a place in the 3-Minute Elevator Pitch final. Following the final presentation, LYNTONIX received strong recognition from multiple industry judges and was selected as a Merit Award winner in the Smart Healthcare Category. LTX-568 is a novel, non-addictive small-molecule analgesic being developed for the treatment of chronic abdominal pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Despite the significant burden of abdominal pain in IBS, effective treatment remains a major unmet medical need, largely due to the complex and incompletely understood pathophysiology of IBS and the lack of well-validated therapeutic targets. The LYNTONIX team identified a novel therapeutic target that is highly expressed in intestinal mucosal samples from patients with IBS and subsequently developed LTX-568 to selectively target this pathway. LTX-568 is designed to offer key advantages, including scalability for manufacturing, high target selectivity, long-lasting therapeutic effects, and a favorable safety profile. LTX-568 is now approaching the GLP toxicology study stage, a key milestone in its preclinical development. LYNTONIX plans to submit Investigational New Drug (IND) applications in the United States and Taiwan in 2028, paving the way for LTX-568 to advance into human clinical development.LYNTONIX, INC.-Yvonne Lin-3-minute elevator pitch (second from the right)From left to right:ITRI-Maggie Lu. | LYNTONIX, INC.-Miranda Lee, Dr. Jack Hsin (Founder), Yvonne Lin, Dr. Karen Chang. https://www.lyntonix.com/en/hot_539349.html [2026/08] Awards-LYNTONIX Wins the Merit Award in the Smart Healthcare Category at the 2026 BioMed-X Startup Competition, with LTX-568 Earning Broad Recognition 2026-09-11 2027-09-11
